More Livestream views on X?

I’ve been live streaming on YouTube for a VERY long time. There have been months and years when the viewers showed up, and slumps when they didn’t. Yesterday I sent the stream to X for the first time in a while and had over 100 people watching which is pretty good for an art stream.

I’ll be testing the waters out over there. I had about given up on doing streams on YouTube. Unless you’re going to drama farm, the comic art/illustration audience doesn’t seem to care. Although other art audiences show up to just talk art. I’ve seen it happen.

A lot of who shows up is due to the current state of the algorithm. I’ve streamed on X before with vastly worse results. But now that they’ve announced they’re trying to head more into the video realm, things change.

The platform holds a lot of power over who sees what.

Anyway, I drew this on the stream while plugging the latest art book. You can check it out at GetThisArt.com
