Slogging away on Gunship Thunderpunch 2 pages. Getting closer.

I really enjoy coloring when it’s on my own stuff. But I don’t enjoy coloring other people’s lines. I think because that’s the stage when everything else I’ve done on the piece starts to come together and it’s a little easier than laying the pages out. The layouts take the most brain power for me.
One of the challenges in this book has been the angles when the characters are on the bridge. There’s a big space battle scene, but anytime there’s dialogue I obviously have to keep cutting back to the same location.
The trick is to 1) make sure the dialogue is engaging (and not too wordy) and 2) to keep varying the angles.
