A sense of urgency or casualness in the image affects our understanding of the text. This might sound basic, but a lot of artists don’t take advantage of it. And it is an advantage of the medium.
A scene of exposition, if you have to have it, can bring the reader in with good facial expressions, angles, and body language. Copy and pasting static images saves time in lots of instances, but in the case of conversations it damages the work itself.
