NYCC, New Yorkers, and Shanna

Commissions Conventions

NYCC is less than a month away. It’s one of my favorite shows, mainly because it’s in NYC and there’s always something to do after show hours. Like taking the subway the wrong way at 1am or almost stumbling into the middle of a gang fight. Both of which I have done.

Actually, I have found that overall people in NY are pretty helpful if you need assistance or directions. They’re not look-you-in-the-eye-nod-and-say-hi friendly like we are down south, but I haven’t run into your stereotypical rude New Yorker, though I’m sure they’re out there.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to it, and I’m slowly building up my stack of sketches to take with me. Here’s a Shanna I did yesterday after working on pages.
