Daily Sketch (iPad edition): Earl Gordon

Conventions Sketches and Studies

This is Earl, the Gordon fisherman’s lesser known brother.  Don’t buy his fish.  Not only are they a little spoiled, they aren’t fish.

I’m getting ready to head to Chicago for C2E2 this weekend.  I’m at table D6 in artist alley and will have original pages from Doctor Who, Transformers, G.I. Joe and a couple other things for sale.  I will also be doing sketches all weekend.

I’ve got my instagram account linked to my blog so I’ll be updating pics from the show while I’m gone.

In other news, I broke my foot on Easter trying to use my nephew’s Ripstick.  I figured out how to go forward just fine…it was the attempt at turning that got me.  Fortunately it’s proving to be more of an inconvenience than anything else.  I can still work and get around with my dapper cane.  Look out Chicago! (Unfotunately, the shoe the doctor gave me is three grades less than dapper.  In some circles it might be considered a bold fashion statement.  In others, reminiscent of one’s golden years.  I like to pretend it’s a giant bionic foot that I use for crushing robot spiders.)

  1. Sorry to hear about your foot. But I’m glad it wasn’t your drawing arm.

  2. You and me both! That would have been…bad.

(There’s a Chesterton quote appropriate for every occasion.)
